Media briefings will be held for any press attending the Primates Meeting in Alexandria. However media not at the meeting will be able to access the briefings as podcasts on line on the Anglican Communion website. Those podcasts will be made available as soon as possible after the conclusion of each briefing.
The briefings will be held at the Helnan Palestine Hotel in Alexandria. The time for the briefings may vary and will be provided to journalists in advance.
Archbishop Phillip Aspinall, Primate of Australia will act as spokesperson for the Primates’ Meeting.
Any journalists wanting access to the daily press briefings in person must complete the registration process below and hold valid press identification issued by a recognized press association or organization.
A photocall for the Primates will be held after Evensong in the Pro-cathedral on Sunday 1 February. Journalists who have sought accreditation for the briefings will automatically be accredited for this event, and additional briefings as determined.
Although every effort will be made to accommodate requests for accreditation, priority will be given to those who are journalists working for bona fide media organizations.
