Brief history of Diocese:
The Anglican Diocese of Kitale was formed on the 20th July 1997, a split from The Diocese of Eldoret with Rt Revd Stephen Kewasis as the first Bishop. It is a vast Diocese with five archdeaconries and thirty five parishes with fifty Clergy. A large portion of it in the north is Arid and unreached with gospel and adversely affected by famine.
