The Anglican Communion Office, based in London, England, at St Andrew's House, is the permanent secretariat for the Instruments of Communion. It serves Anglican Consultative Council, the Primates' Meetings and the Lambeth Conference, as well commissions, committees and groups that emerge from time to time, as the need arises. The Revd Canon Kenneth Kearon serves as Secretary General of the Anglican Communion.
The office maintains the Anglican Communion database and has an archive of Anglican meetings dated back to the formation of the ACC.
The St Andrew's chapel has been designated a "Cross of Nails" Centre for peace and reconciliation, affiliated with the Community established through Coventry Cathedral, England.

As Archbishop Justin Welby prepares for his inauguration in Canterbury today, the 85 million members of the Anglican Communion are being invited to pray for him and his ministry.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Archbishop Justin Welby, is to be represented by the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, at the inauguration of the ministry of Pope Francis as Bishop of Rome.
Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby has said that in his new role he, with the rest of the Anglican Communion, is faced with “a challenge for the imagination.”
