A Prayer from Nigeria
O God our Father, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, even the Lord of his Church.
We know you, Lord Jesus, as the Prince of Peace; the peace which the world cannot give nor take away. Send your everlasting peace in Nigeria. Let your peace rein in our political, religious, social, economic and educational institutions. Let your peace be in our hearts and families, that we may love and honour one another very dearly. We ask these through the merits of our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.
